If the VHS jingle doesn't hook you, "Valentine" might. P101 shows why he's among the best with this and the spooky, pounding tension of "Nightmare", its tone urgent but its pacing inevitable. Perturb's "Noises" has the feel of his Terror 404 period but with a more lush sound. It's cool, but "Intruder" and "Run" are a phenomenal pair, from the nursery cryme to the VHS screams to the galling, drawn-out chase, closing out with the scornful laughter of the killer fading to static. Simply diabolical.
